A commercial coffee machine differs from a home machine in 3 key ways: capacity, durability and service support. By cup volume: up to 50 cups per day Jura WE6 or Franke A200 (entry bean-to-cup), 50 to 150 cups per day Jura WE8 or Franke A300 (mid-range), 150 to 300 cups per day Schaerer Coffee Soul or Franke A600, 300 to 500 cups per day Franke A800 or Schaerer Coffee Skye, 500+ cups per day multiple machines or 3-group espresso setup. For specialty cafes and restaurants we recommend pistonmachines (La Marzocco Linea PB, Astoria Plus 4 You). These require trained baristas but produce true espresso with crema.
